The panels are not only suitable for roof mounting, but also for facade / wall mounting when appropriate Solar Assembly Systems (e.g. supplied by Schletter) are being used. That is how you can give your facade an elegant pinstripe look.
The next generation: Micromorphous PV panels
The new micromorphous structure differs from the conventional PV panels. They have a double structure of a micro-crystalline absorption layer and an amorphous silicon layer.
This particular construction lets you use almost the entire light spectrum for electricity generation. In this case efficiency is increased by around 50% on average.
Use of the full spectrum of light
In contrast to conventional modules and thanks to their micromorphous structure these panel will be able to generate decent amounts of electricity even when weather conditions are not ideal. What matters for these panels are not only the sunshine hours, but the amount of light in total. This means the panels produce very good results from sunrise until late in the evening.
