CARLINGSWITCH - Electronic Dimmer

This dimmer is a perfect addition to the well-known series of CONTURA switches. The dimmer provides a switching capacity of 10 amps at 12 volts. It is well suited for instrument or interiour lighting. Operation: 200 Hz Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), therefore also ideal for dimming LEDs. Cut-out size: 22 x 44 mm, depth: approx. 60 mm.

Note

1. Dimming range 10 - 100%.
   Meaning the dimmer does not completely regulate the lighting. A residual brightness (orientation light) remains.
2. Assembly
   The dimmer does not fit the installation frame of the CARLING CONTURA switch series.
   The required cutout size is 22 x 44 mm (0.87" x 1.73").
   Suitable for panel thicknesses of 0.8 - 4 mm (0.03"- 1.56").
   External dimensions of the dimmer on the panel: approx. 50 x 25 mm (2 x 1").
3. Contact assignment
   • 1 = PLUS 12 volts
   • 2 = Output PLUS dimmed
   • 3 = MINUS
   The connection numbers 1 to 3 are imprinted in the housing adjacent to the flat plug contacts.
   If you are unable to find them, place the dimmer flat on the table so that the connections point toward you and the side vent opens upwards.
   This results in the pin order 1 to 3 from left to right.
   (The lamp to be dimmed is connected to pins 2 and 3.)
