There are so many coffee and tea specialties available, that one can sometimes lose track of them all. Our small coffee & tea assortment makes simplifies everything: What is an Espresso Macchiato? And at which temperature should green tea be prepared?
 


Espresso
The Italian classic! This rendition impresses with its bold and deep flavour profile, which is enhanced by the addition of thick cream.
Tip: Don’t prepare espresso with boiling water, or else it will quickly become bitter.

Ristretto
Small and very powerful. But is it as small and as powerful as espresso? Absolutely, seeing as ristretto is brewed with the same amount of coffee as espresso, but with much less water. Not for the faint of heart, but most certainly for those true coffee lovers out there!

Coffee 
The true classic. It can be brewed as filter coffee or from freshly ground beans. On average, approximately 30,000 cups of coffee are consumed per minute around the globe. 

Cappuccino ("Kapuziner")
The perfect synergy of espresso and hot frothed milk.  

Latte Macchiato
Means something along the lines of "milk with spots", with more milk than coffee. It’s made out of a combination of hot milk, milk froth and espresso. Often certain syrups such as caramel or hazelnut are added to enhance the taste.

Caffè Latte
Also called “milk-coffee“ and sometimes confused with cappuccino. However, Caffè Lattes are prepared with just hot milk and no frothed milk added.

Espresso Macchiato ("der gefleckte Espresso")
Cappuccino’s little brother – a refined espresso, topped with frothed milk.

Cappuccino Italiano
The espresso comes first, then the frothed milk on top!

Café au lait
A true French classic, which is usually served in a cup containing coffee with hot frothed milk.

Flat White
With flat frothed milk on top! The Flat White is prepared with exactly as much milk as cappuccino, just with less frothed milk on top.

Long Black
A double espresso mixed with hot water.

Caffè Americano
Similar to the Long Black, espresso is prepared first, followed by the addition of hot water.


 

Green Tea
Green tea is a true stimulant, providing a generous amount of caffeine. Depending on the variety, this tea should not be steeped for more than 2-4 minutes, in order to prevent bitter substances from developing. The optimum infusion temperature is 60°C.

Black Tea
Closely related to green tea, but with less caffeine. Therefore, black tea can be steeped for a longer period of time. This tea can optionally be enhanced with lemon juice, milk or cream.

Herbal Tea
The miracle tea. Herbal teas can be consumed for both enjoyment and health purposes. They help fight against colds, bladder infections and insomnia. Depending on the combination of herbs, the brewing time can be up to 8 minutes.

Fruit Tea
Countless flavour combinations! Thus, the full taste experience develops after a steeping time of up to 10 minutes.
