easyTRX2S - AIS transponder

The new S-generation of the easyTRX devices has not only been improved in design matters, but its technical interior has also been updated: processor with double processing speed, 50 channel GPS and the SD card reader for recording the route can now take SD memory cards up to 32GB.

easyTRX2S also makes your boat visible on the screens of other parties with AIS receivers. The device automatically sends AIS signals and can display received AIS telegrams on your chartplotter or PC software. This is how you recognize foreign ships and are also seen by others. The easyTRX2S also receives the AIS signals transmitted by professional shipping (Class A) and converts them into an NMEA protocol. This can be processed by your chartplotter or your PC software. In addition, the easyTRX2S transmits the dynamic and static driving data of your ship according to the AIS Class B standards, which can then be received by other ships equipped with an AIS receiver or an AIS transceiver.

Available in 7 versions: with or without integrated splitter, each with or without WiFi module, with or without GPS and without WiFi with additional NMEA 2000 connection. The built-in splitter allows you to easily connect the unit to a VHF antenna with a VHF radio.

The specifically adapted GPS antenna is sold separately.

For configuration, your PC must be equipped with at least Win XP SP2. Your chartplotter or PC software must also be AIS-enabled. Built-in GPS receiver, baud rate: 38.4 kB (bidirectional), power connection: 9.6-32.1 VDC (12-24 V) / approx. 4 W, 1 transmitter / 2 receivers. Dimensions: approx. 190 x 150 x 30 mm. SD card slot for recording. Includes PC software for configuring and displaying AIS data. The iPhone® and iPad® can be easily connected to the models with Wi-Fi and now also receives the output NMEA protocol.
