This world-class rope is a very good choice for racing. It provides the strength of a wire rope with only one-eighth of the mass. DYNA ONE combines the extreme properties of the Dyneema® fiber SK78 with a unique design.
DYNA ONE requires fittings and winches that can manage extreme forces
Ideal for running backstays
ATTENTION: Not suitable as a sheet – or in combination with double braid ropes!
Prices per meter. Please specify the desired color while ordering. Note about color selection: For items 55152 and 55153, "black" means "grey". If you choose "black", you will get a grey DYNA ONE.

I need new trim line for Sparcraft vang (static rope). Is Dyna one - first class 10 mm (existing width) proper rope for that use. Can you make smal eye splices on both ends. Finished lenght should be 1.8 m (spliced ends). How long rope should I order?
SVB has ask me to reply to you, so here it goes. As far as I know that rope is perfectly fine for that purpose. I use the same on my 33' boat changing it from previous wire solution. As for the amount of rope needed for splicing both ends I would recommend you buy at least more 0,5m extra for both ends at least, plus an additional 0,5 to be on the safe side. hope that helps.
Dear Jesper, many thanks for your question about an inner Forestay (Solent stay). DynaOne HS MAX (the zero creep variation) will be an option, but this rope will not work in clutches. In clutches, you need a cover for grip. In that case, we would recommend MegaTwin Vectran as inner forestay.
Good day SVB,
Please kindly advise if you can splice and make loops on each side of this dyneema. This will go into a backstay and needs both sides loops. Will you supply to Dubai, UAE??
thanks in advance.
It is easy to eye-splice or form loops, soft shackles, etc. There are some good videos on Youtube explaining how to make them strong. Amongst other things I have used eye splices on both ends to form a powerful kicker/vang. The only consideration for a backstay would be the choice of blocks or low friction eyes. As dyneema had less stretch/bounce than polyester any continous pumping of the mast might put heat in to the the rope on the turning surfaces. Dyneema doesn’t like heat.
