The radar equipment for smaller yachts with all the features that are usually reserved for larger systems. The FURUNO 1623 with its 6" display impresses with its simple operation and excellent display at night or in sunlight The FURUNO 1623 can do even more. Due to a high pulse density and dual IF bandwidth, an excellent target detection is achieved at close range.
It has 13 ranges from 0.25 to 16 nm. Switchable range rings allow for quick estimates of distances. With the bearing line and the measuring ring, distances and the course can be determined in a reliable manner. If a GPS is connected, the following data appears on the lower half of the screen:
Longitude, latitude, bearing and distance to next waypoint, ground speed and course over ground. Dimensions: h (without bracket) 195 mm x w 185 mm.
