The Wi2U provides a broadband internet connection for up to 8 end user devices on-the-go (e.g. smartphones, tablets or laptops). Speeds of 7.2 megabits / second are possible. Access is, of course secured by default (via WPA- encryption). With these encryption and pusblic hotspot setting you will grant access only to persons and devices you trust.

Anti-theft and mobile router in one device
Optional external GPS antenna (Art. 16050) is available through us. When this antenna is connected to the internal GPS module you can locate your vehicle at any time. Each time your vehicle is started the time and the location of your boat / vehicle will be sent to you by email or SMS. When the Router receives current from the 12V / 24V battery, once the motor is started you will be notified. A very smart way to watch your belonging.
Delivery includes all necessary components for operation.

Please take into account that there are Fakra accessories or adapter plug without coding (Fakra Z), in colour turquoise (water blue, RAL5021). This is the only case where confusion is possible.
Make sure for these connectors that you get the correct port assignment. A UMTS antenna must be connected to the burgundy port on the touter while a GPS antenna will be connected with the blue one
